Why there is a restriction at all
A pack pays out in Robinhood Stock Tokens. Those are tokenised debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited — they give economic exposure to an underlying share or ETF but no legal or beneficial rights in it, or against its issuer.
They have not been and will not be registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, and may not be offered, sold or delivered within the United States or to, or for the account or benefit of, U.S. persons as defined in Regulation S. The issuer also restricts offers in further jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Canada and Switzerland. Selling a pack is offering those tokens, so the pack shop follows the same restrictions.

The authoritative list of jurisdictions in which offers or sales of Stock Tokens are restricted or prohibited is published by the issuer at docs.robinhood.com/rhj. Where the two differ, the issuer's list governs and this one is the one that is wrong.
What you confirm before opening a pack
Beyond the location check, everyone is asked to confirm a short list of things once, before their first pack. The check is stored in your browser only — no account, no email, nothing sent anywhere.
- You are not a U.S. person as defined in Regulation S, and not acting for one.
- You are not resident in, or accessing from, a restricted jurisdiction listed above.
- You are not on, or acting for anyone on, an applicable sanctions list.
- You are of legal age where you live.
- You understand a pack pays out less than it costs on average, that the published odds are the real odds, and that you are buying it to open it rather than as an investment.
- You are not using a VPN, proxy or relay to get around any of the above.
How the check works, honestly
Location is read from the CDN in front of this site — the same IP-based signal every website uses. It is approximate, and it is trivially defeated by a VPN. The attestation is a checkbox in your own browser, which is a statement you are making, not something anyone verifies.
Neither one is a technical barrier, and it would be dishonest to present them as one. The contracts are public and permissionless: they hold no allowlist and no address blocklist, and we have deliberately not added one, because a contract that can freeze a wallet is a contract that can freeze your wallet. What the gate does is make sure the offer is not made where it may not be made, and that nobody opens a pack without being told what it is first.
Circumventing it puts you outside these terms, and possibly outside your own local law. That is your decision and your risk, not something this site can undo for you.
